What are the different sizes for in acoustic Guitars?

I am wondering what is the difference betwen a 38″ 41″ and 25″ acoustic guitars. thanks.

Actually, those measurements are the different measurements for different scales of guitars. The are full sized, 7/8 scale, 3/4 scale and 1/2 scale guitars. These guitars all have proper proportions for tuning, but the total size makes the smaller guitars easier to play for children or people with small sized hands.
