How do I start an online shop selling musical Instruments?
I would love to start an online business Selling Musical Instruments, mainly Yamaha Keyboards and digital Pianos. I have experience in both the Music business and and the retail industry.
Would I need to contact yamaha to declare myself a wholesaler? and what are the best deals/costs for setting up a commercial website?

Online shoppers want variety and low prices because they can navigate away in a second if you don’t have what they want. It’s very hard to compete with large online distributors. They have the ability to buy in bulk and can pass their reduced prices on to the customers plus they have extensive warehouse and shipping facilities not to mention extensive inventories.
Your best bet would be to find a niche market and specialize in it and use affiliate programs from places like Amazon, etc. A well crafted web site can get a lot of traffic, some of whom will buy something from the online stored linked on your site and then you get a cut.
