How do you record Music into vinyl Records?
Like the whole process. Like how do you put ur voice or music into the record and how is the music stored in the vinyl record? and how is it played back? Like which part of the record is the music stored on the record?
The sound is cut into a “master”, usually metal, disc. The vinyl copy is pressed from the master.
Simply, sounds enters a microphone, is mixed, is amplified, goes to a cutting stylus which etches the vibrations into the metal, plastic (polyvinyl chloride) is placed over the master disc, and a copy is made.
The details are much more complex, but this should give you the idea.
The sound is in the vibrations cut into the master. For stereo, the stylus cuts both up-and-down and from side-to-side for the two channels.
The sound is played by when the vinyl disc’s etches move a play-back stylus.
