After all, it is a huge expense and you will want to be covered if it gets damaged. You also have to pay to have your instrument tuned on a regular basis. You’ll want to find a local tuner that you can count on, since a poor tuning can affect the entire integrity of the instrument. You don’t want to allow a bad tuner to ruin the sound of your grand piano.
There are many places to find your new grand piano. If you are looking for the finest instrument on the market, you might try a local piano dealer. The great thing is that they will generally handle all delivery and moving so you don’t have to deal with it. They will often offer both new and used Instruments, and will have a wide range of prices. If you are looking to be a little thriftier, you may want to look in local classified ad listings or websites such as Craigslist. You might be able to find a great deal on your grand piano. Of course, you will have to move it yourself. You will also want to bring someone with you who really knows pianos so you can be sure you are getting a workable instrument.
